Spring Cleaning the Heart
Spring Cleaning the Heart
You ate half your salmon
While I shared my heart
The mincing of words
I guess we should part
We walk to the crossroads
You kill half the bloom
I walk down the hill
And look for the broom
To sweep up the plans
I made in my head
And toss them up into the wind
I'll mop up the love
And pour down the tub
The water of being your friend
Clothing you liked
While we planned a hike
I’ll donate to somebody new
Cause it would be better
To not see that sweater
I’ll Kondo the clutter of you
No matter the season
Pain helps me start
Now where is that dustpan?
Spring cleaning the heart
